A Research Center proposal is offered
to serve student and teacher needs.
A Fail-Safe Method to assure Reading proficiency
Students beginning Third Grade reading below grade level
may use this process to increase their independent reading levels
an average of two years in just six months.
Ending Bullying and punishment
Consensus goals enable all students to "belong" and to develop personal agency.
Punishment is replaced by students working together to achieve their goals,
and by following the example set by their teacher,
helping each other be accountable for resolving issues by asking:
Which Personal Goal is this about?
What would you like to do about this?
How can I help you?
Enabling all Students To Do Their best
James was feared by his peers.
He was a known bully, and a gang member from a gang involved family,
He was enrolled in the first class to adopt Consensus Personal Goals.
Teachers and Principals As Research Participants
A proposal for a national research priority and process
engaging teachers and principals
in developing and disseminating successful methods
for teaching and for managing student behavior, that assure all children
equal access to safe education and high quality educational outcomes.
